Butternut squash and sage is utterly divine. Have you ever had the sage all crisped up in loads of butter before placed on roasted squash? Oh, sigh.
Since our hearts sing the same culinary tune, you might appreciate the sandwich I had last night. My husband and I managed a lovely date night to a glorious roof-top restaurant in the city. Grilled Butternut Squash with Caramelized Onions and Goat Cheese Panini. It was heaven. I am itching to recreate it at home!
Oh my gosh, Anna this picture is gorgeous and sage is my all time favorite herb especially for the fall and with butternut squash!!!
